This policy describes how AdviceStore processes the personal data of the website’s users and customers, in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Privacy Code) as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018.
Data controller
The data controller is the company SG Brothers srl. For any request regarding the processing of your personal data you can write to info@advicestore.it.
What data we collect
- Account data: first name, last name, email address and password (stored in encrypted form), when you create an account.
- Order and billing data: shipping and billing address, telephone number, tax code or VAT number, details of the products purchased.
- Payment data: payment is handled directly by the payment service providers (PayPal) or by bank transfer. We do not collect or store the full details of your payment card.
- Communications: the contents of the emails or support requests you send us.
- Browsing data and cookies: technical data collected automatically while browsing. For details please see the Cookie Policy.

Data recipients
Your data may be shared, only to the extent necessary, with the following parties acting as data processors or independent controllers:
- Couriers in charge of delivery: BRT, Poste Italiane, UPS, GLS and DPD, for shipping orders.
- Payment service providers: PayPal, for processing payments.
- Google reCAPTCHA, for anti-spam and security protection of forms and of the checkout process.
- Technical providers (website hosting and maintenance services).
- Our internal management system for warehouse, stock and order fulfilment management.
Data is in no case transferred or sold to third parties for purposes other than those indicated.
Transfer of data outside the European Union
Some providers (for example PayPal and Google reCAPTCHA) may also process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases the transfer takes place in compliance with the safeguards provided by the GDPR (the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or recognised adequacy mechanisms).
Retention period
- Account data is kept for as long as the account remains active; you can request its deletion at any time.
- Data relating to orders, invoices and payments is kept for 10 years, as required by civil and tax obligations.
- Data processed on the basis of consent (newsletter) is kept until the consent is withdrawn.
Your rights
At any time you can exercise the rights provided by Articles 15-22 of the GDPR:
- access to your personal data;
- rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- erasure of data (right to be forgotten);
- restriction of processing;
- data portability;
- objection to processing;
- withdrawal of consent, at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
